GAME ACTIVATION: CANNOT ACTIVATE THE GAME
Please disable your antivirus/firewall in order to activate the game.
If you have F-Secure antivirus/firewall, please temporarily disable DeepGuard of F-Secure.
If you have PC Tools Spyware Doctor, please disable it.
GAME ACTIVATION: ACTIVATE MANUALLY THE GAME
You can activate manually Cities XL using a Manual Activation Key.
You can get a Manual Activation Key from another computer with an Internet access or from a smartphone.
1. Run Cities XL.
2. Enter the Cities XL Activation Key (Serial Number) from the activation window and click 'I already have an Activation Key' on the bottom left.
3. Click the link activation.focus-home.com
4. Enter the Activation Key (Serial Number) then the Hardware Code (from the game activation window) then click Activate button.
5. Copy the Manual Activation Key.
6. From the game activation window, enter the Manual Activation Key and click Next button on the top right.
7. Once the game activated, click the OK button and run Cities XL.

GAME ACTIVATION: DEACTIVATE THE GAME
DVD/DIGITAL VERSION:
1. Click the Windows Start button then Computer.
2. Open Local Disk (C:) then the Program Files or the Program Files (x86) folder.
3. Open Focus Home Interactive folder then Cities XL folder.
4. Run the application ACPC.EXE and click the Activate or deactivate product button.
5. Click the Deactivate license button.
STEAM VERSION:
1. Click the Windows Start button then Computer.
2. Open Local Disk (C:) then the Program Files or Program Files (x86) folder.
3. Open Steam folder then Steamapps folder.
4. Open Common folder then Cities XL folder.
5. Run the application ACPC.EXE and click the Activate or deactivate product button.
6. Click the Deactivate license button.
GAME ACTIVATION: RESET THE GAME ACTIVATION
If you cannot reactivate Cities XL, please reset the game activation:
1. Press Windows and R keys then type REGEDIT in the Run window and click the OK button.
2. Click the Yes button.
3. Open the key HKEY_CURRENT_USER then the key Software and the key FOCUS.
4. Delete the key Cities XL and close the Registry Editor.
5. Run Cities XL and reactivate the game.
